Not mine, gotta be a misprint... too clean for such little money

Seller said: This is a really nice clean 1964 Rambler Classic. It's a nice driver. It has an in-line 6 cyl. engine (196 cu) with a 3-speed manual trans on the column. The transmission has been completely rebuilt with mostly all new parts. The clutch has been replaced. The brakes have been gone through that includes all new brake shoes and the wheel cylinders rebuilt. The carburetor was rebuilt and the fuel tank was removed and cleaned and repaired. The door seals are new as well as the door sweeper gaskets and the windshield seal is new. Tires are new and the front suspension has new ball joints. The body is in fair shape considering it's nearly 50 years old. There's usual little dings here and there. The paint was redone at some point but is in fair shape. The price I'm asking is only a drop in the bucket for what I have invested in this car. I have many of the receipts for the spare parts I bought. I'm selling this car to make room for another car. Please contact by email only. Please provide your phone number and the best time to each you. Thanks for looking. Steve

This would be absolutely awesome as an everyday driver for me

It's a Rambler, so it's not worth much. It's a six cylinder, which makes it worth less. Then, it's a four door, so it's worth almost nothing. Not a bad car, but good luck selling it when you're through.

Some Ramblers are worth more than you may think. I've been looking for a 59 american wagon for years. The hot rodders got to them and the prices are now stupid.

Just got off the phone with the owner, he is a Porsche executive at Porsche North America, bought this off of the original owner. Has been in Atlanta since 1970, he has had it for the last 3 years. Takes it to Cars and Coffee monthly, drives it to work every once in a while. He lives a mile away from the house. Going to "look" at it tomorrow...

What scares me is sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. Will it boil over?

Tell you what. You buy it. If it overheats in traffic, I'll buy it from you for a buck three nighty eight, and I'll pick it up on my way back from Florida around Christmas time.

Look at the size of that radiator, now look at the size of that engine, how can it overheat? So long as the block doesn't have 2 inches of rust in the water jacket, the water pump still has an impeller on it, and the system hold pressure, it should be just fine. Also, its an old American lump-o-iron, overheating just means you have to let it sit 20 minutes to cool off.

Haha. I went to go look at it the 2 nights ago, he got mixed up and thought we were meeting at a McDonalds about 10 miles away, so I opted to go home. He has emailed and apologized, but I am busy for the next 4 days, today being my day of birth, tomorrow thru Sunday I'll be at the track with Anti-Stance working with a Trans Am Team. So the only day I'll have available is Monday evening.
