THIS is a flower car.

What you're looking at is a drunk, a Saw-Zall and a Hearse.

When I started my Locost project, I went to an obscure little junkyard that had three early 60's flower cars in there and they were all in really nice condition. I had never seen one before.

The next time I went there, they had moved everything so I asked the owner of the yard about them.

He said, "You wouldn't believe how thick the metal is on those things. I had a really hard time cutting them up but I got a lot of money for them at the scrap yard."

I hesitate to contradict two guys named Starr and Lamar, but assuming those tail lights are original, that's a 1970, not a 69.
