Shoot man, you should drive this to Columbus, I'll buy this, then I'll drive you to Loudon for our race, then you can take your flight back. They don't mind if you miss the first leg of a round trip flight do they??
I'm about done with the Volvo, it wouldn't start this morning. It's been averaging 25mpg, this thing should get around that right? ;-)
'fraid that isn't going to happen, but I'll be passing through Columbus with it on my way home sometime the weekend of Nov 10th, I was actually planning on making Columbus a stopping point rather than driving straight through so maybe we can meet up for a beer :)

Well that was a lively discussion and I received some nice offers, but it would appear JThw8 has successfully negotiated with his SWMBO and will be taking a lovely flight to OK to come pick her up.
That was easier than I really expected it to be. In fact the hard part was telling other folks she is sold.
I should have priced it higher.
Ms Mental and I are quite happy she is going to a proper home.
Dannnnnng. Well, at least that keeps my focus on existing projects a little clearer.
@Thw8: Please do! I can accommodate everything from a quick stop fun meal to a night out and a couch to crash on.

Damn I really wanted it, but I know someone flying in and driving it is much easier on you than delivery. Please let me know if this falls through and I will find time to fly out and get it...or ride my bike out, put a hitch on the wagon, and tow the bike home....that would be fun.

Sounds good. I have an old AF buddy over in Heath too so it may be a group outing. Much will depend on what time I hit Columbus, might be very late.

Well right now I am considering myself the caretaker and builder of Mrs Mental's car. She has first rights to get it back if they are in a better position for it when it comes time to let it go down the road.

In his defense I've been pestering him and the Mrs since last year when they bought it for BABE to sell me this beast :)

Yeah, I understand and I know you'll give it a good home. When I told my wife I was trying to buy a huge 78 wagon I think she thought I was kidding...she should know better buy now.
Glad the derby guys can't touch this one

Nahh, that's still my daily. And wont the Yugo look great being towed by this beast?
Luckily, Yugos look great being towed by anything. (Runs & hides, yelling "I didn't mean it!! Transplanted Fiat hotness FTW!!")
