If it does fall through I would probably pick up some wobble bolts and bring some of my many Miata wheels with good tires to get it home. My only tow vehicle is the Volvo and I don't know if uhaul would rent me a trailer for it. I also don't think I would want to tow a full trailer with it.
I know somebody who could tell you more than you'd want to know about putting a K20 or K24 in there.
And their shop is only a couple minutes from my house.
Might want to DIY. As I understand it, the shop gets $30-40k for a conversion.
I was looking at the kit prices earlier today and they start around $4k. I would do a rotary anyway...just because I have one.
Car is sold... The Challenge-build will carry forward, just under different ownership.
We already have plans drawn up on napkins, and everything, so I'm glad that "Project Yellowcake" will come to fruition.
Well that's a relief, now I can get back to fixing the Miata.
