1983 Corolla 4 door in Missouri, $600

Hey all,

I bought this with aspirations of grandeur. Now I find myself with plenty of projects and I feel this one deserves attention I'm not giving it.

1983 Toyota Corolla 4 door, 4AC (carbureted), Automatic (no overdrive), A/C (that actually worked last I tried!).

The engine has a rod knock. It might be able to pull itself onto a trailer without 'sploding...then again, odds aren't in its favor.

The interior is in surprisingly good and clean condition.

Buy it as a project, what it could be... ;)

I'd be interested in trades and such...I'm a sucker for a project (that's why I have this)...

I really like this model of Corolla, with it's "overtones" of 3 series BMW...in the styling. Unfortunately, I currently have no space/garage to work on this, and besides, it's currently an automatic. But it's killing me that it's close enough to seriously consider.
