Original wheels? To him may be.

maybe he meant to say it would come with the original wheels and not those ones.

not sure it is worth it. A clutch job would cost a normal person nearly 1000 dollars, and I am sure that needs more than a clutch.

okay John.

As a parts car, it is probably worth it, you should be able to make about 3 grand off of it if you do it well, but as a driver, you would not even be able to make it run right for Challenge money (unless you got him to lower the price a bit. I would offer 500 and see if he bites)

awesome! about 5 miles NNW of Lilburn is Berkeley Lake. Does google maps use the same filters as the GRM board?

Why? If you shop around you can get a clutch kit for a little more than $500. Add a Saturday of wrenching and you've got a running 944 for $1,600 or so. Why are you so sure it needs more than a clutch? The crappy rubber hub on the stock clutches is all that usually goes wrong with them. When I did mine I cheaped out and just changed the clutch disk with a sprung-hub unit and changed the TO bearing (it was a little noisey). I was back up and running for less than $300.

If I lived in that area, that 944 would look like a possible $2010 Challenger...but, I'm clear across the country.
