Not affiliated, but my brother is looking for a car to use as a daily. What do you guys think of these? It's running rough, what're replacement part prices and all that like on these? I usually hear people talking about '88 and up. This is an AWD 5-speed too. My Dad, brother and I wrenching in the garage get this thing running at a minimum cost? Good investment?

No luck on seeing the ad for me.

Neat little cars. Plenty reliable years ago, dunno about now. '88 and up "4WD" cars are AWD and based on the famous EF Civic and feature the Civic/CRX Si's D16. Earlier cars are true 4WD and many are carbed. Neat cars, just not as tuneable. For $400, snatch it up.

Weird you can't see the ad? I thought maybe it got yanked, but it's still there for me... Anyhow, thanks for the bit of info and the website, I'll check it out.

"Posting deleted by author" as of.....?

BTW, the '85 and '86 Wagovans had "regular" 4wd, while the basically similar '87 had automatically engaged AWD. (The 4wd/AWD models in these years had 76 horsepower engines with a now finicky 3 barrel carb...if i remember right.)
