Not mine, found in Craigslist search $750

seller said: I'm seling my '87 Corolla because i simply have no time to mess with it. I bought it about 4-5 months ago as a project, but never got around to doing much of anything to it. School got the best of me. I'm looking to sell quickly and move on to a slightly easier project. THE CAR RUNS Things that i know are wrong with it (told to me by previous owner and my personal experience with the car): He said the fuel pump needs to be replaced, though it runs fine now. Car pops out of 5th. Lopey/high idle The car is completely stripped. Has 2 seats, one of them a beat up recaro racing seat with 4 point harness. Has every suspension upgrade from TRD; front and rear sways, front and rear strut bars, lowered a ton. Aftermarket rims with Proxies. Decent amount of tread left. Car handles like a beast. Perfect car for a cheap engine swap. The 4a-ge engine is very common. More pictures at this link below: http://s108.photobucket.com/albums/n28/leetpcguy/Corolla/

The car is in North Carolina now. I was planning to use the suspension parts on my other FX16 GT-S. Before the seller bought it, it was owned by a Lexus mechanic who rebuilt the engine using Toyota parts. The body is in very good shape, only surface rust in a few spots. The transmission grenaded the first time I drove it. The exhaust manifold was cracked, the windshiled is cracked, the wiper motor is shot too! It will take some time, but by spring it will be ready to autocross. I'm having a limited slip made for the new transmission as we speak. It's gonna be fun!
