I have my 1988 300zx turbo 5spd up for sale as is. Very rare!!!! There were only 2692 of these made that year. I have the original owners manual too. This was purchased as a project car a year ago,but turned into my daily driver since October 2008. I have driven this car all over the state with no issues. I need to buy a truck for my sailboat and camping,so the Z is no longer practical for me. The T-Tops do not leak. No A/c or radio. Power steering rack was leaking so I drained reservoir, pump and all is still good. The rack just needs a seal replaced and it will be fine. Again, I've driven this car everyday to work for a year so it's more than solid. Interior shows its age on the dash, seats have no tears and have power lumbar support. trim pieces are solid. Power windows and locks work....The motor is very strong and has about 80k miles on it. The chassis has 181k. The turbo spools nicely and builds good power. The body is in fairly good shape with it's share of bumps and bruises that one would expect a 21yr old car to acquire. It isn't the prettiest Z out there, but it will get you around and make a great project. 88-89 were the best years for the Z31. The trans and diff are worth $1000 to someone with Z knowledge..I only bought it for $700 bucks so I'm not looking to get rich off it. It has a manual boost controller , an aftermarket temp gauge, cat removed, tuned muffler, and a cone filter on the intake have been installed. The car is sitting on 17inch edge wheels in ok shape. It needs an alignment for the 17's...tires aren't great, but will get you around. .The front are still strong.Calipers good.
