5sp, 2.0L engine, LH 2.4 FI. We cannot get it to start and my friend, the owner, has to move by the end of the week. I will post picts later on today.

It is a 5 door, so if I were going to race it I would weld the rear doors shut after running a cage. Just some cheap stiffening, you know.

Gainesville, FL.

I knew I forgot something.

And, wait! There is more! I have the Garret T25 exhaust manifold for a 9000 doing nothing I would throw in the deal.

Isn't it always like that? Someone has a Volve 780 in WA and I am way on the other end of the country.

'88 5-door 900?

Are you sure it isn't a 9000?

We never got 5-door '88s in the US.

PS: If this really is a '5-door '88 for $200, we need to talk. I'll do my best to find a way to get it home @ that price.

'88 saab 900 should have LH 2.2. I know this for sure because I have one. This sounds like a 9000 to me. $200 for an '88 9000 5spd is still not a bad deal if its not rusty, a great deal for a non rusty+ turbo. I'll bet the no start problem is a fuel pump failure, super common on 9ks

You are all right! It is a 9000. I am a lousy typist, you know.

Let me throw in some pictures so there is not guessing:

I do not want to make any pressure but the car has to be gone by Thursday unless you make a deal with the owner. If anybody is interested, email/pm me and I pass his phone number.

You'll need to log in to post.
