OMG, if I get a job and that thing is still around, It is becoming mine...
I just might have to institute a rallycross program to exercise it though...
It might not be yours now, but it SHOULD be.
If that thing runs and drives, that's a STEAL.
Seriously, go get it. Waste Evos for pennies.
190 BHP / 190 Torques...I bet it would hold its own.
I want the GT-Four Center Locking Diff for it though...none of this viscous crap...

Really?
Really?
Really.
Really.
Obviously, i don't mean literally less than the princely sum of 1 dollar... But that could could quite possibly run 12s on a challenge budget, which is probably not even an acceptable downpayment for an Evo.
More and more aftermarket is popping up for these, and they aren't all that shabby in the handling department.

Not stock it won't.... it's a low 15s car, probably with 20 year old worn out suspension.
But breathing mods and a boost controller gets you easy mid high 13s on stock turbo, stock ecu, stock fuel. Bigger turbo, stock ecu, stock fuel will dip into 12s.
Install your usual konis and ground controls, go have a blast.
Evos run 10s on stock internals. Plenty of E-85, GT35R Evos running around on the streets that are low 11s, high 10s without ever opening up the engine. Alltracs cant even hold their own against a DSM dollar-for-dollar, let alone something with 20 years of evolution behind it. Get it, evolution?

Look, you're reading way too far into this, as you seem to have a penchant for.
It's a $900 car. My statement was simply "go waste evos for pennies."
I don't recall saying that it would waste an evo with a buttload of work done to it. I would have thought that my the natural logic of my statement would have been something like this:
"Hey guys! Look at this $900 rare awd boosted Toyota! If you have an inkling of buying it, i suggest you do so, as you can acheive evo-like performance for WELL under what buying an Evo would set you back for! Great deal, huh?"
Which... i figured was illustrated fairly well with this post:

Just try to have an open mind.... that's what the board is about. I know what DSMs are capable of, i know what Evos are capable of. And to say that AllTracs can't hold their own against DSMs is just plain ignorant.
I'd say that it's probably not as well broadcasted and not as well known, because there's like, what.... 8% the amount of alltracs as there are DSMs? And most people don't even modify them.
Christ.
Never mind guys, go buy a sparkling new Evo X!
