I went up there with the intention to buy this car a few weeks ago, when it was advertised for $500. This car is a deathtrap. The cage is from a completely different car, and doesn't fit. What they did was cut off the roof, drop in the cage, and tack weld it wherever it happened to touch the car. From the door bars back, there are NO ATTACHMENT POINTS to the chassis. The cage "floats". DO NOT BUY THIS CAR unless you plan to tear out the cage and start over. I hate it for this guy: He's in financial trouble and needs the money, but I'd hate to see one of us get killed in this car.

Wow. Thanks for the heads up! I was thinking it would be a good candidate for the GEERS series, but sounds like it needs quite a bit. Good thing I'm broke :)
