I'd say there's even odds you could fix that transmission with a screwdriver and an adjustable wrench - it's probably stuck in reverse.
As always, the "deals" are crawling out of the woodwork when I either have no money or no place to work on said deal.
Wouldn't a fried clutch/pilot bearing or throwout bearing cause this same condition?
