We decided not to build it but that doesn't mean someone else couldn't. Body has some dings and there's over 200,000 miles on it. Manual trans 2.3 four cylinder which PO described as seized. Honestly I didn't even look. It's in Challenge virgin condition with change in the ashtray still. It already on my trailer and next weekend is pretty free so you might be able to convince me to deliver within a reasonable distance.

Looks like seized engine was really a seized alternator. Heading to junkyard. Price may go up.

Would be epic if that's it's only fault. How much did you pay for if you don't mind me asking?
Running truck now for sale at my cost of $440 to a GRMer. My cost as follows:
Truck $275
Tax and title $100
Junkyard alternator $25
Plugs and wires $40
I'm not going to make anything. Even leaving the change in the ashtray.
This is as striped down factory truck as you can get. No PS, AC, PW. It has a radio but I doubt it had one from the factory.
No longer for sale. She's going back to the stable ...

Oh good. When I saw you'd got it running I started imagining an ill-advised road trip of epic proportions. Enjoy the little truck!
To anyone wondering or considering. I have had 3 cars shipped this year from Jacksonville, FL to Northern Ohio (just under 1,000 miles) and it has cost me 45 cents to 50 cents per mile. I personally found that to be cheaper than going to get the cars myself.
I found my shippers on Uship but if anyone is interested, I can give you the direct contact info to the shippers. Some savings may be possible by doing the transaction outside of Uship who charges the shipper about 15% for finding them the work (and facilitating a safe financial transaction.)
The cost of shipping to pick up your car is exempt in the current Challenge rules.
If that cap ever goes on sale I'd give $100 for it. I happen to have a white '94 Short bed Ranger
In reply to KyAllroad:
It happens to be for sale at exactly the price you mentioned. Missing keys and shipping to you would be a PITA.

Patgiz, will you be road tripping up along I-75? I'd be happy to pay in bourbon, beer, lodging, whatever.
