The logistics always suck... everything is always 1000 miles away or rusty as E36 M3.
I got my 2 for $500. One is My lemons car, it was running. the other was a parts car. no interior.
Non running cars are not worth much. Unless that interior is perfect Id say there not worth a grand.
The early e30 4 cyl is the single cam 98 hp engine that was in the 320. The transmission can not be used on a 6 cyl engine and the driveshaft wont work. So you would need a 325 donar car if you wanted to do a swap. RE wiring Ecu and drivetrain.
If it were a later year M42 m44 twin cam engine that would be differnt.
I don't care if it runs. I want a 2 door rust free shell and suspension to start another race car project from. I hate cleaning rust off of things before I can start.
Dam, I cant look at an E30 and not want one. It makes me sad to think that I sold my 87 325 for 500 bucks just because the rear wheel bearing dried up. I think I am going to buy another one!
ya, i sold my short bumper 318i for 1200 bucks, biggest mistake of my life...
I have an '87 325is with goodies I'll sell for around $1500.
