I bought this car in Texas with the intent to get it back on the road. I have really enjoyed working on it and learning more about it, but now I'm in Tampa, Florida and I really only have one parking space which is already filled.

Cons: This car is rough in many areas. I'll try to give as good of a picture of its needs as possible. The brake line for the rear has rusted through. A line was made to keep the fluid from leaking, but only the front brakes are functional at this time.

The body has several damaged areas which I've done my best to picture. The radiator support is damaged and the hood does not latch completely as a result. The interior smells a bit musty. The battery cover and intake are included, but disassembled. An animal has made a home in the engine bay with some of hood and firewall insulation. Battery condition is unknown.

Pros: It's an Insight! It is capable of running and driving, although I do not recommend driving on the street because of the rear brakes not working. The car is stock and complete aside from a battery charging/balancing cable I installed. At the asking price, the prolong charger that this cable is designed to work with will be included. Both rear wheel covers are present. The tires are nearly new (reputable brand, but I failed to remember or take pictures of it).

If you're interested in making a challenge car out of it, there are lots of great parts to sell off. It would not be hard to zero it out of the budget.

Are the toads negotiable?

Between the toads and whatever lives in the engine bay, this is the most eco friendly car I've ever seen!

Welcome to Tampa. A few other GRM'rs in the area. Those picts must be from TX as that looks like more than one parking space to me! You could park many more behind that shed!

A rusted car made of aluminum and plastic, sitting in Texas. surprise

That looks like a perfect one to make a racecar out of!

I'm interested in the charger/cable if you sell it separately. I still plan to make mine a functional hybrid again. I somewhat doubt the buyer of this one will.

This car has made me wonder, for the first time, whether the Insight head flows well enough to be worth making an ITB manifold for. I do know you can stick guts/gearing from regular Civics into the stock trans case. Hmm.

If the new owner wants to get the car on the road, they'll have dibs on the charger. If not, I could sell it to you.

Why are you so far away..  I badly want to put this drivetrain in the Subaru 360 shell I have.  That would be amazing..
