It's mine, and sadly, it's got to go.

I just don't have time/space/money for a project of this scope, and I really need something truck-like very very soon.
Pictures tell the story. It's a big project, but it'll be so freaking cool when it's done...
It's a Murray body four door with suicides in the rear. This was a project started back in the '60s that never got done. The first builder channeled the body about 6" onto the LaSalle frame, put some flares over the rear wheels, and started on the motor mounts, likely for a SBC. The canvas top has been replaced with the concession stand menu from a drive in movie theatre - which, alone, is worth about a bajillion cool points.
The only rot is pictured, on the lower edge of the front cowl, driver's side. Small spot. Surface rust everywhere, obviously. There's a wide, shallow dent in the back, probably from somebody pushing in the wrong spot. Looks easy to pop back out. All the wood for the body 'structure' is rotted away. The frame looks incredibly solid and stout. LaSalles were overbuilt luxury cars, so this frame should be able to handle a fair amount of modern power before it twists like a pretzel. Most of the glass is present. No floors, no firewall. Unidentified rear end. IFS, which will piss off greased-hair-rolled-jeans-Lucky-smoking crowd, but will be appreciated by somebody who will actually drive the thing.
I would love nothing more than to drop the BBF I've been rebuilding into this thing and tear around terrorizing the normals. I can't tell you how many hours I've wasted daydreaming and planning this build in my head. But, I've come to the painful realization that it's not going to happen on my watch, so I need to free up the money I have in it and get something on the road.
I'm open to trades for cool (preferably older) RWD sedans or wagons, or 4x4 trucks. My only real criterion for a trade (aside from, you know, liking it) is that it be roadworthy as it sits. I don't mind tinkering, in fact, I'd welcome it, but it's gotta be able to get me on the road.
$2000 for this beautiful rusty hulk of steel, and I'll deliver it within reason. What's reasonable? We'll figure that out later.
I'm in St. Louis. akcarlson at g mail dot com for questions.
