Time to thin the heard...
89 Suzuki Sidekick 4x4, 5spd. Odo reads 32k, I'd guess it's 132k.
The good:
I've put a ton of work/parts/$ into this within the last 1000mi.
New top & clips
New mud/snow tires
New front calipers/rotors/pads
New right CV shaft
Full tuneup plugs/wires/cap/rotor & adjusted valves, new valve cover gasket
New shifter bushings
New radio
New radiator, cap, tstat & upper hose
Welded in new floors, including the rear bed, with locking cargo box.
Floors & rockers Herculined
New body mounts
Repaired frame rust
Rebuilt front hubs
Have new rear shoes, ebrake cables & fuel filter not installed yet
The suspension is nice & tight, as is the steering. The exhaust is newer, though there is a small leak where it was welded on. The truck runs & drives good, gets about 20mpg, and is great in the snow. The only problem I haven't solved yet is why the temperature gauge fluctuate & coolant seems to be getting slowly forced out the overflow.
I've put over $2500 into it & have reciepts for most of it, but we're buying a house & moving, and I don't have time to work on it, or space at the new place. I'll sell it for $2009 here. It has a 4-bike hitch mount carrier I'll sell with it for $100 more. Located in 60963(IL).
Oh, and I'd be glad to post pics but I can't get it to work for some reason.
OK, no one interested...how 'bout we change this to "best offer"? That ought to spark some responses!
It's really too bad we're just far enough apart to make this stuff a pain ;)
Because if we were closer, I bet we could trade the same stuff back and forth for decades to come.

No doubt. Ready to get rid of your P71 yet?
You have to use HTML code to hotlink pictures on this board. A site like photobucket will give you the code, or you can click the camera icon and put the pic's url in the box and let the board do it for you.
If not, can you email me a few pics of it? I'm interested...

No you don't. You can use HTML, but you can also use markdown, or BBcode, or just let the board do it for you.

Tim - Is the any chance you could write a FAQ for dummies on how to post pictures on this board? I've tried multiple times, but I always get red x's. I use the button to post a pic & copy/paste the URL from imageshack, is there something I'm missing?
There's an FAQ link up top. The help link
is helpful, too.
Show me a post where it went awry and I can tell you what went wrong.
