My 1989 Volvo 740 Turbo wagon is up for sale or interesting trade. Asking $800, or trade, partial trade, offer. It's in Westminster Maryland, which is roughly 25 miles northwest of Baltimore.

Turbo + (really, I really think it is, the unit is under the dash, right beside the stock turbo control unit)

A/C, power windows, automatic, sunroof, 3rd row seat, heated front seats, leather (not ripped to shreds), cruise control, genuine Volvo trailer hitch.

It all works. Really, it does all work.

298k miles. Just think, by the next oil change you'd be able to get that free 300k mile badge for the grill!

And at 298k miles, it's crotchety. It's an old Volvo. It leaks oil out the front (I do have new seals). The headliner long fell down (I removed the hanging cloth, it actually looks ok with the board up there). Exhaust is trying to decide if it wants to rot out soon. Rust is lurking in the front fenders and living at the rear by the trailer hitch.

Here's a link to a bunch of pictures of it on photobucket:

But wait! There's more!

There is also an almost complete 89 turbo 740 wagon PARTS CAR!! Ohh, ahhh.

The parts car was gutted for its interior, but I got the complete beige interior from the car the previous owner swapped it into. I drove the car onto the trailer and took it home. I don't think I have a title to this parts car. This car is nearly rust free. It also has a trailer hitch.

As for trades, partial trades and the like: I have a Miata, Spitfire, Toyota T100, and a Volvo V70. I like motorcycles and would love to get a dual purpose bike. Have a kid that will shortly outgrow his little 50cc dirt bike. And the wife would dearly love a bigger washer and drier so she can do blankets and comforters in it. As well any other interesting thing you can talk me into (honey, we really needed that jet ski, camper, etc).

PM me and give you my cell phone number.

I don't get it. If I copy and paste the link, it works. But if I click on it, it doesn't.

Does it work for you if you copy and paste the link?

Ah, yes it does... Thx

Very tempting, I could use a beater people mover (and a captain mover come the fall). Is it a package deal, b/c I wouldn't be able to take the parts car off your hands.

You don't have to take the parts car. I offered it up here to the GRMS folk because I figured if any bunch would get excited about having a parts car to go with it, it's us.

You'll need to log in to post.
