I would love to pick this up myself, it's local to me (maybe 20 mins away), but I already have a project. Someone get it!

Nope, I blew one of those engines up fairly well years ago. I still have the baggie of crank bearings in the garage. They looked like potato chips, but thinner.
Not a scientific measurement, but there's enough suspension travel to scrape the stock mudflaps on the pavement.
You are all the worst bunch of enablers I've ever seen or encountered.
If I didn't own 8 cars right now, I'd buy this.
However... if somebody had a trailer and was driving past there and thinking of heading through Raleigh, let me know.
I would love it if someone on here got this...not too many GRMers local to me, so a cool car from around here going to someone on GRM would be awesome!
I bet the motor died because the turbo died.
Swapping in a new motor should take about 8 hours. Less if you're cool with removing dumb crap permanently.
So you're saying in a weekend I could have an awesome turbo charged fwd torque steer monster for about a grand?!?!
Man I need a house and a garage...
Yeah... it takes me about 2.5 hours to remove a motor and trans without taking any shortcuts. Pretty straightforward.
Pretty sure this is still available. I looked on car-part.com and found motors from $400 -$900 all day long. Man I want this thing but I have nowhere to put it and I can't convince the wife to let me get another non-running project.

This is one of those occasions when it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission......just buy the damn thing.

Haha, no, that would go very badly for me. As cool as these cars are it's definitely not worth it. I will have one someday...
