I found out in the yard on an MX3 this past week that with a medium-sized slothead screwdriver I can still remove a single din Kenwood head unit without damaging the faceplate, surround piece or harness in about 18 seconds. I didn't know whether to be proud or terrified.

BG 323 with a BP swap, the RAV4 drivetrain will swap in with an adapter plate. The B6T rods, B code intake, boundary engineering oil pump with a shim, a pair of ihi turbos, 3 sets of injectors a downpipe and a few other bits.
So a bit like a Frankenstein 323 GT-X. I like this plan.

Once the RAV4 teardown begins I'll go elbows deep in a build thread, as I can't find the original one I started to update it. I likely won't be getting the RAV4 south until March, as it's currently being stored in NH for me through the winter. That'll give me time to get the protege stripped and out of the parking pad though.
