As some might recall I was given a AE86 by my brother a couple of weeks ago. Well the car is in pretty sad shape (super bad structual rust) and has some major title issues (he never realized that the 2 previous owners never signed off on selling the car, only the buyers were siging it). He was also told the car was a GT-S, but alas a run of the vin shows it's a SR-5. So it is getting parted out.
Fenders and hood are in good shape. Doors have little rust, but are still in decent shape and not rotted out. Has Vintage 13" WED Sport wheels. It does have a 4AGE motor with a AE92 vin tag, Search shows it's from a '90 GT-S. 5-speed, It does have rear disc which research shows didn't come in a SR-5, so it might be LSD that was swapped in at some point. I have to investigate some more on that one.
I'm letting this stuff go cheap as I don't want it to end up in a salvage yard. I'm in Janesville, WI.
Also interested in trade for Miata parts or R-compounds (15").
Thanks!
Where you located?
There were some SR5's with disk brake not alot but not to rare iether they use a diffrent axle seal (1955) vs the drum (20210 seal).
I'd be intrested in the whole rearend and drive shaft if your close or just the chuck ifg its to far.

Post the rear end on the Locost forum if the Dwarf doesn't want it.
Too bad we're so far apart
I've got the AE72 that could use the drivetrain and the miata parts that need gone...

How about the price of shipping? Like I said some stuff will be cheap.... The major stuff will be sold (wheels, panels, drivetrain) but the other crap that is still good but too big of a PITA to ebay will be given to those that will make good use of it. As long as your patient with me, I work a crappy schedule......
In reply to zoomx2:
Sounds like a deal I can dig ;). NO hurry since my engine is across the state and there are several projects in front of this one.

One random thing I need is the spark plug cover - willing to part with that?
I'd also be interested in knowing what the wheels look like and a price.
I'm in need of a T50 shifter if yours will fit and you're willing to let it go separate from the transmission..
Thanks,
Clem
