Might have to stretch the nose a little. Or maybe not.
I bet that would be sketchy at 130+

I would also love to find an older Impala or Chevelle to drop it into. Funny where your mind wonders to when you are just thinking of "What if's....."

They start getting sketchy on the interstate stock.

Since I put mind back down to stockish height, mine will run 65-70 with one hand on the wheel. Until you pass a semi. It's light enough, sprung soft enough, and boxy enough that it does get blown around some.
130 might be a bit hair raising for sure. It would probably run to half track on the wheelie bars.
Here is some inspiration for you.

I approve of this.
No. Gotta show the engine and massive valve covers and big headers. It's a $100 BBC. The naysayers need a reason to have a meltdown.
You don't have to run a hood. Plenty of modifieds ran without them. In fact, I can't think of a better way to show it off.
Remember, the street in front of your house has no sanctioning body.
Big cubes, big fun. Can't wait to see where this ends up. Ain't nothing like the rumble of 400+ Murican inches.
The 454 in my tow pig has 230,000 miles and feels just broken in.
It would be hard to find a car that a BBC has NOT been in already, as a drag car for sure.
Something newish would have an LS, so that would be my suggestion, a Volvo C30.
What I'm looking at is a rat rod truck, that would be a winner, just take a truck cab, put the motor exposed in front, no bed.
$100 cab:
Pleeease buy the spitfire off Andy. I think he's selling it for what I sold it to him for, $40.
It has a transmission you can sell and recoup.
It's body on frame, so fab is that much easier.
It needs a stronger rear end anyways (more parts to recoup!)
It's not far away.
I promised the guy I got it from that it would have a better future than being recycled. I felt so bad selling it. (Had a kid and already had a restoration project)
PLEASE

I was in a middle lane on I-95 one day and a beige Camry came up behind me. In my mirrors I saw it pull out into the left lane. Then it shot up the highway like it was fired out of a cannon with the wail of a modern Corvette. No idea what was in it and with dark tints couldn't tell if it was caged. I don't think I've ever seen a car pull away that quickly from a 70 MPH roll. Was rear wheel drive with wide tires stuffed inside the wheel wells. No stickers, crazy camber, or any other outward signs of what lurked under the appliance skin. I was shocked!
Like Jay Leno's 850hp toyota camry?

This is similar to the yellow car when we had the A-x tires on it.

That probably requires an homage to the old Team Voodoo logo...
actually, you should probably do that no matter what car it goes in.
After 3 years of working on modern engines I am thinking about this again. What "there's no way that was $2K" car would be fun to create. Not a stupid impossible combo. But an achievable creation. Thoughts?

You can buy a Corvette for less then a Chevette. What planet did I land on?

Holy cow. When did this happen?
What about a pro street cavalier? Those are still cheaper than free, right?
Chrysler Crossfire with the 502?
Or even better... $1200

FWD. Nope. Needs to be RWD and big enough for the 454.
I mean, I think Andy might still have that spitfire. Like I said, build something Cobra-esque out of it.
Alternatively,
Big Block Rolls Royce!
