Ok, in the vain of the new covid pickup, I have a question.

What are body limitations?  I had this thought on the drive home.  Recall that there are competitions to use a stud to build furniture.  Use one 2x4 8 foot board to make a chair/couch/lounger/whatever.  If you combined this idea with some cheap t-shirt material, you could make a body for the car.

I don't know that I will attempt, but I may be able to build the car as a challenge car with this vein in mind.  I need to go re-read rules and see some of the "loopholes" built in.  Safety equipment and such may allow for it.

In your case I think you're going to have to skin your chassis with a real production body.  Like Robbie is doing with his Datsun.

Went through the rules.  I could show as an exhibition car.  Otherwise, nope.

Talking with the wife, it could be fun to bring this over to compete if I can also use the trip to pickup an actual glass body.  One of the suppliers for a decent priced body is located in Florida.

Grab super cheap close enough dimensions old car body, skin it to the chassis well enough to be safe but easy enough to remove, do challenge and go to florida to buy your fiberglass body

Pretty sure Robbie has another Datsun body. Wheelbase is close enough, width would need to be addressed
