I have a E36 M3-ton of late C4 sawblades, something like 14 at last count. for reasons, i can't use them on monzora. I need C5 wheels, and kinda prefer to run fronts at all four corners to stick with 17s even though i lose some rim width on rear. anyone within an hour or so of zip 48187 interested in doing a trade or selling me some C5 rims at a challenge-friendly price aka cheap?
Hello fello michigander.
I have a set of knockoff c6 z06 wheels that I picked up for almost nothing. They are staggered (sad face)
I have been trying to source anouther set at challenge prices... So that i could have meat at all 4 corners.
Failing that... Maybe we could find two staggered sets cheap and make a set for each of us, as I would prefer big fatties
Current set is 19×11 rear and 18×8.5 fronts but I have seen them with 18x10 rear and 17x8.5 fronts. If I did manage to find a set like that would a staggered set of 18x8.5 rear 17x8.5 fronts work for you? Just some food for thought
In reply to Crazier :
what i need are 17x8.5 ET56-58 or 17/18x9.5 ET65
what i have are C4 sawblades in 17x8.5 ET56 and 17x9.5 ET56
and i have one set of C5 thin-spokes in 17x8.5 ET58 and 18x9.5 ET65 (OEM Speedlines, not replicas)
In reply to AngryCorvair (Forum Supporter) :
I might have cash for those thin spokes if you want.
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
I really like the thin spokes. I bought 275/35-17 A7s for the rear when I thought I'd be running sawblades, and I don't think they'll package up front without some body cutting. So, I'm gonna lose money on them if I can't run them on the rear, hence my desire to go 17s all around, even though it sacrifices an inch of rim width on the rear. So it's all up in the air right now.

Sorry if this is hiJacking your thread but I'm looking for some ZO6 wheels here in Minnesota. Copies are fine. Is there a wheel source or trading place?

Good looking out for a brother! IDK why those didn't show up in my searches.
Ugh, wagon wheels are sooooo ugly but there's no denying that they are cost-effective.

Idea time... Wagon wheels are ugly as hell but super cheap. Why not buy the cheapo wagon wheels and then you have some budget leftover to get crazy with a set of DIY turbofan hubcaps.

Exactly, I can use them on my Jaguar and get the size that makes affordable tires possible.
I have 2 front wagon wheels (17s) we could trade/stampie rule if you need them. Pretty sure I paid 150 for the set (two 17s and two 18s).

I sold my Corvette a ways back so I don't have any use for C4 wheels, but I do have a leftover set of all fronts (17x9.5") C5 Z06 wheels that I'm looking to get rid of. The price won't be as rock bottom as the wagon wheels in the ads above, but they're not hideous, lighter, and wider than them.

Oh and I forgot to mention I'm local to the Metro Detroit area, in Farmington Hills.
In reply to KevinLG :
Can I call seconds on them if AC passes?
pass to Stampie, as i scored 6 C5 Magnesium rims the other day.
stampie, if you buy i can pick up and hold until the GRM railroad passes thru.

I'm sending you a PM.

Your local pal wawazat is coming this way in a couple weeks and that would get them 120 miles closer
Yup I'm down to transport some wheels if it'll help some of you fine folks.
I'm passing just because I'm not willing to risk $ on something I'm not sure will fit. Maybe once I get to Darth Nader next month I can look at it closer. Thanks.
