I did grab 3 jars of generic taco sauce because it's pretty good and it was on sale at IGA

She won't notice once you wash it out. Might get a bit mad if she's home and you vent it.

I'm sort of thinking about putting a burner under a giant can of queso hobos style.

Nothing to clean that way. Giant can of queso acquired, and plastic serving spoons
I think I’m going to bring some sodas, but they may be consumed by Thursday night in the hotel parking lot. Local grocery store has an awesome variety.

an old hobo alcoholic trick is to take those sterno canisters and dump them on the cheesecloth and let them drain.. alcohol comes out the bottom of the cheesecloth. It'll make you go blind but only temporarily.

i was aware of that but only because of a Henry Rollins spoken word bit about the bums in Griffith Park in LA.

With Michael, most of his anecdotes about drugs or alcohol come from personal experience

Yup. Which is why i carry a 2 liter of diet dew. Its FAR less destructive than old habits.
Ill bring a spare for the parking lot and pool.
Patrick - I sent you an email with an offer of local assistance. Did you get it? I'm happy to bring as much as I can so all of you can travel a bit lighter if possible.

i have 120 plates, napkins, disposable serving utensils, somewhere north of 200 tortillas, 3 jars of sauce, a gallon of queso, 8 half tray size foil pans, a 3x5 table, a 2x4 table, and a grill with a full tank.
I'll have 40lbs of chicken, a giant cooler of indeterminate origin (buying one this weekend, just not sure which) 10ish lbs of cheese, some large amount of lettuce, and my favorite taco sauce. Ah, and a gas burner and many gasses.
I guess? I don't do spicy but i know people do. I was going to get some bell peppers down there and do peppers and onions with some seasoning.
Mental note for myself- I need to remember my burner, some cutting boards, aybe tinfoil, knives, burner..tongs? Do we have tongs? And of course the taco fixins.
