Challenge help desk

Often think of doing this usually on the drive home. 

We have a very diverse group of people here almost all of whom are if anything overly friendly/helpful. 

Post your pre or at event contact info and areas of expertise also tools/access to tools. 

Blair and Dave 717-968-6083 Car #27 (hopefully) a red/plywood Omni GLH towed by a gold Yukon xl and gray enclosed trailer. 

14 years in automotive repair most of that spent building race/track cars. Expert welder/fabricator/tuner. 

Not planning on bringing welding equipment hopefully someone is. We'll have our normal stock of tools and hardware anybody feel free to come ask for help. I'll have my laptop, Hondata, HP tuners, AEM, Megasquirt. Get with me Friday happy to take a look at tunes for free. 

Given the unwillingness of most Turbo Honda challengers to find injectors I'll be bringing some old stuff I'll happily sell dirt cheap. 

Reminder to everyone the struggle is part of the event, if you're getting beat up post about it, bring attention to yourself there's help all around you. Adversity also makes for great stories. 

Here's where I ask for help... We're way behind if you're near York PA and want to do some racecar thrash time between now and next Wednesday let me know I can put you to work.

I'm going to have to talk to you post challenge about an issue with the challenge escort and a repair solution that I have, that's admittedly above my ability and skill level.

To clarify what I was trying to do here and hopefully get some participation, if your team is bringing something you can use to help the cause of making the event better please post what it is here along with how to contact you. If you need help at/before the event post here. 

Welders, engine hoist, spare parts, beer, photographers, people who know their way around Gainesville, people willing to run for parts, mechanics, etc 

Its not a challenge car but I'm bringing a MS2 equiped Rotary MG that I've been to scared to play with the rev limit on.  Its to low..   I could use assistance if no one with challenge cars is busy

We should def  talk at the challenge or after and I can make a wishlist; prob could us a bunch of stuff. I am not in a time crunch so don't want to make it a distraction right now.

2.4 swap should be fun, can't wait to see it!

110 mig welder

Coolant system test kit

Motive bleeder

Bin of misc hoses

Bin of electrical supplies

Cordless tools (angle grinder, Sawzall, drill, impact)

Some scrap steel of different geometries.

Pressure gauges used for brake systems

fuel pressure guage with a "tee".

Hubstands (for alignments) - work for some cars with 5 x 4.5 as well as 4 x100 hubs.

I could use help with: (depends on what I get done before hand)

Stickers

Some miscellaneous wrenching.

- clockspring install

- maybe install new front subframe?

- alignment

Detailing the car (I legit don't know how to do this...)

I'll have my laptop with TunerStudioMS & RomRaider on it as well.

Anybody else?  Whatchu need?

At one point there was a thread with some people offering to cut Vinyl numbers for people. Anyone out there still willing? My wife's vinyl cutter is on the fritz. 

Oh, and I've got a set of 245/40-15 RS4 with a lot of tread still left on them. If anyone is interested in buying them for a good price I can bring them down. Just PM me. 

Anybody have any spring rubbers they could bring?
