Pat, can you check the spline count on that 241 T-case. If it's 32 I'm interested. Just trying to figure out a way to get it here. Assuming it was working fine when pulled anyway. I'm digging more on the whole 261 to 241 swap.
Thanks man!

Lots of want, but can't swing 2k right now.
32 spline from a 454/nv4500 k3500. Worked fine but truck was a rotbox and bought for transmission by a friend.
Next time we're coming south is the challenge
Cotton, That thread should have most of the stuff since day 1. Rear axle is whining, comes with another. I really don't want to sell it but I don't drive it much anymore because the kids can't both ride with me. It's dirty, i effed the front seat with battery acid, most of the interior is in the rafters of the garage, etc... it's a driving project that needs hit with the bodywork and elbow grease stick. Oh yeah, windshield cracked much. I have one on a parts truck but i'm 1 for 4 lifetime trying to remove windshields
Kinda describing it like I don't want someone to buy it, eh?
I took pics of ranger today, will upload those in the next day

Hope I don't have to wait that long for it... Happen to have a front drive shaft hanging out to go with it?
Any LSX camshafts hanging out in the parts stash?
Just a stock 46k mile 5.3 cam thats worth it's weight in scrap. Apparently i need to go to swap meets in Nelsonville PA to be able to find cheap aftermarket cams. I don't think I have any front driveshafts for 88-98. May have a 73-87 one.
No thanks on the earlier front shaft, I'll do some poking around here and see what I can locate. I'll let you know on the T-case. Don't hold it for me.
Funny you say that about PA. I was thinking we've got to go to WV in July, you're only ~6 more hours up the road. PA isn't that much of a stretch to be out of the way.
Recon. 2 bolt 1972 block. It needs to go to machine shop for everything. Has been sitting many years. Will need tanked, bored, decks cleaned, lifter bores cleaned, pretty much everything. Free. $0.
Got it stan. I have been busy today. Is that your cel? I can shoot you picture to make sure they're what you need. I bought them, and then decided to just buy the bolt in housing with correct width.

you can take your wheels back to PA too, they'll be done being used by june 30
crazy busy trying to get ready for saturday. i even have a bunch of pictures of the ranger on my phone that i haven't put up.
i'm not jumping anyone over anyone else about things, i know who replied first.
i do have an edelbrock 600 in the pile. it was running last year and i did drain it before putting it on the shelf but best to assume it should get a quick cleaning and seals because it's about 10 years old now. $50 plus shipping.
the 454 is in a rotten 92 chevy truck that i bought because i wanted the engine, but now i have more 454's than i know what to do with. i am going to pull it but it's a back burner thing unless someone needs it asap. the oil pan has a rust pin hole in it, so it leaks down. i never ran it low and it sounds/drove healthy. many burnouts were done bringing it home.
In reply to patgizz: In a MKv Block I'd have to remove all from the Cam up, I do Have the Harness from My 84 (twin TBI's) but not about to attempt that swap.
I've never built a car W/O a Carb and doubt I am Smart enough to do that, besides you said you had taken it off already.
I'd have loved to come up on Sat. but need to do the Swap Meet to get money for the Fiero, THAT will Be My First FI and Or Turbo Project, A twofer
FL title signed by PO(ready to put your name on). 1 rust spot about the size of a finger on firewall below heater box. Rest of body is as solid as a southern vehicle should be. Short bed. 2 dents on roof/broken windshield from hurricane last year. Hood dented from same. It is a large project and has basically no interior hence price. I don't want to part it out because it's a good base to start with. I have pics will link later just came in from garage and have to shower and sleep.
I plan to strip the truck it's in prior to the challenge, in which case you could meet me off 77/26/95 somewhere when we head down if you can wait till October.
I have s10 and ranger pics, but I'm still running ragged and the whole family is sick.
Sounds good. At the rate my search is going for a 3/4 suburban, I'll have the Trans before the truck
