See, I saw this but it concerns me. What has to happen b/4 you know you need a new oil pump? Was his head making noise, low oil pressure,.... what? This leads me to believe this is just a money pit waiting to be filled. I could be wrong though. Any ideas??

Too funny. With the exception of some tidying up and an oil cooler, I have just finished an S52 swap.....It is not cheap.

FYI -- I got an email back from the guy this am.

149k approx miles Don't know about timing belt Yes clear title Assuming oil pump or oil pan Car ran fine when I parked it Layer that day oil leaked out from front right side, car is sitting at slight decline, has not been cranked since Automatic

To me, this sounds like an oil pan gasket leak. Not a bad pump. It's an automatic, so I'm gonna pass. Thought someone else would like to know, though.
