Dick Lahaie had a Crosley. I conned him into doing a carbed 3.4L S10 engine swap but I never saw it finished.

... so honey, I'm sitting at my desk, working away doing all that's right for God and Country and these people keep shoving cars in my face. I swear there's no one else, you're the ONLY one I look at.

That's awesome!

I once saw one at a car show with a big roots style blower sticking out of the hood. Rear end was narrowed to the point where the meats were ALMOST touching (they looked like a steam roller).

But the best part was the vinyl graphics on the rear window that read "Pro Sidewalk".

If it wasn't for the ever-present and irritating distance issue, I'd snap that one up.

I can't imagine putting big power in one of these. The pictures don't really show how tiny they are. What a blast!

They seem oddly popular here for some reason. I bought a VW from a guy who had at least four, and I've seen a number on Craigslist, too. There's a club for them that goes on drives tooling around the area...very strange to see.

There was a nice Crosley wagon at Autorama in Detroit last year. Nicely done up by the guy that owned it,not a professional checkbook job. Oh, and the really neat part was the power by Harley-Davidson !!
