I had been planning on picking something cheap up, and doing a little prep, then bringing it to the challenge this year, but finding a candidate this year is kind of difficult. I figure if I don't find something, I can always grab something that is out of budget from my fleet.
So, is it possible to register before August 1st, to get the lowest entry fee, then edit what car I'm bringing, and the classes it may run in after I actually figure out what I am brining?
In reply to eastsideTim :
I've switched cars last minute so yeah they've been understanding in the past.
I think I changed cars in 2017, but with all the new class structure, wanted to make sure it's still cool.
Don't you already have a Challenge car you're almost finished with?

The S10 is way out of budget, but I'd still be willing to bring it, except at stock height, it'll be nowhere near meeting the SCCA rollover rules. I figure, worst case scenario, I bring the ratty Miata, the blue Beetle, or I steal my wife's GTI for a weekend. My preference, though, is to find a cheap beater, hack up the springs, throw on sticky tires and nitrous, and send it.
Yes, that's no problem. Changing cars or classes is easy.

Thanks! I'll make sure to register before the price hike. I'm assuming adding an additional teammate later is not too difficult, either?
