I do want it, so badly. Once I have a family, then I will have an excuse (but that will be a few years down the road. Wonder if I can pick up a CTS-V wagon when the time comes?)
Has a lot of miles though, at least that's my impression.

I knew someone with one of these. Supposedly sport package manual E46 wagons are quite rare. Like, hundreds but not thousands levels of rare.

From the production numbers I could dig up while shopping for mine, there seemed to be roughly 1,500 sport package/manual transmission wagons imported into the U.S. during the e46 time period. Knowing that is what prompted me to ship my car from Oregon to Florida.

Another that I stumbled upon, also in the same neighborhood but 99k miles
I would not get too hung up on "sport package" when shopping. The OE set of dampers will be shot by 65k and while you are in there toss in a set of H&Rs. Find a set of 16 or 17" wheels you like and you have reproduced or exceeded the factory thing.
Even if you don't... my wife's '05 with the regular non-sport setup is really sweetly balanced and does not require a kidney belt for PA roads. The "little" tires are easy on the budget too.

True, except that you lose the sport seats. I prefer them over the non-sport versions. Granted you could swap them in.
