Dooo Ettt!
Aren't those engines alone worth that much with servicable parts?
Correct me if I am wrong, but those are not dimensionally the same as the "newer" 13B.
Rob R.

When do you leave to pick them up?

Have you started a build thread yet? Also +1 on that wagon.
Illinois area code, but Taylor is just across the border. Ok. Looks legit. Just had to see... Carry on.
P.S. The wagon looks sexy.
I'll just leave this here...

All I'm going to say is you'd better hurry...because I'm two hours away and the trailer is hitched to the truck, ready to scramble.
If that doesn't get you going...I the only way I can help is to give the owner a call
Im flying in to st louis for work ( in a few hours) , driving to southern IL. I am always sure to check the craigslist where I am heading. and I am in pure shock. I have no way of transporting these bad boys back to Detroit or a decent place to store them...
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
also Taylor, MO 63471 is where it appears to be located at and nowhere near where I am heading.
Yeah...I used to do that when I traveled a bit for my last job.
Well, then, if you don't mind (?)...I'll give this guy a call and see if he can send some photos. It's almost certain they have more rust than ideal. Because we're in the "It snows 20 inches a year so we salt for traction" zone.
Also..."No emails...Calls only...after 5:00 PM" and no photos in the ad doesn't hold much promise for a seller I'll be able to deal with.

The '74 coupe is early enough to have the small bumpers, not the 5-mph crash jobbies shown above. So that's a plus.
I wish I had not sold my '75.
I really do want an Rx4, I have had an RX3, RX5 and many RX7s

I want a rotary wagon, for lulz.
WHY!
WHY SO FAR AWAY! This is an incredible price if they are not completely returning to the earth.

The only problem with that statement is the wagons all had the big bumpers as far as I know here in the USA. The coupe should have the nice form fitting bumper, but not the wagon. I had a 74 coupe a few years ago, and it was cool ,but the PO had ruin it a lot. I traded it plus cash for my 77 RX-3 SP, and we all know how that ended.
In reply to fidelity101:
Enabler reporting for duty!
Two cars, and four rotaries for $1200? Yep, that's a must buy.
Shoot, I'd even be willing to buy one of the extra rotaries off you (thus reducing the purchase price

I don't think that what I said contradicts what you said. I was just trying to point out that the coupe in the ad will have nicer bumpers than the car pictured above.
This is just outside of St Louis:

And that place sells trailers too.
I am definitely interested if someone can check them out for me.
Aren't 13b's second gen motors? I though all cars from that time would have been 12a's or whatever the one was before it. Swaps are possible I suppose, but if that one has been in the junk yard since 78......?
Or am I completely wrong?

13Bs were produced starting in 1974. In North America, all RX-4s, Cosmos (RX-5), and REPUs were 13B engined.

I'm going to assume Fidelity is too busy going to get these- hence a lack of reply.
It is a different 13B, called a 4 port, carbed and desirable to rotorheads, mated to a 4 speed manual and 3 speed auto, the RX5/Cosmo had a 5 speed.
