i had a guy do the same thing to me when i asked about the condition of the interior in the 4runner he was selling (basically asking if the seats and interior were there and functional. he says "if you're asking about that, then this isn't the car for you" i responded with " i just want to know if i should be up on my tetanus before i sit in it or not"

he never responded

I've done similar things before when people ask me dumb questions......like selling a 944 and they ask if it has "vtec yo"......

If you want some amusing reading, check out the gigs section on CL. Someone in Denver recently put up an ad looking to have their basement finished for an absurdly low price, with the usual "$XXXX is all I can afford to pay, and it needs to be done ASAP." "Greedy cheapass" was one of the most polite names someone called them in a response.

Someone claiming to be the OP then responded with a condescendingly worded post saying they were trying to help people out with a little extra money, and how maybe people who are having money problems right now have them only because of their attitude. A firestorm ensued.
