See picture of rustbucket in the post.    I traded a Flight Simulator rig that i built for this inemic Italian monster.    Im trying to get it running for the challange  in 3 weeks but need to know what i should put for a value so i know how much ebay i have to play with.   I made the sim rig out of 8020 I had laying in the shop.  Then had 350$ of controls on it.   and a 50$ seat.    What is the groups thoughts on this.   I am thinking 500$.    and trying to shove a k24 in it before the event with new suspension or just fix the rust and get it running for fun.  I put a picture of the sim rig in as well.

I'm good for $500 IF you put a K24 in the x19

if you traded it for something and you know what that something cost you, then there is no reason to FMV.  it cost you what it cost you and a text from the person you traded it with is sufficient for documentation.  looking forward to seeing another x1/9 build!

Ok what about the 8020 just in my shop did not cost me anything so i am guessing zero then add up my recipts and go with that number and my FB messanger conversation and that is starting value for car.

What's an 8020?

The 8020 from around your shop still has value even if it wasn't an out of pocket cost for the sim build.

Call the pieces drops from other projects if they weren't purchased specifically for the sim build, and price them accordingly

Roughly guessing based on the info provided(seat, controls, materials, and hardware), I don't think $500 is too far off. No FMV required.
