Because back in the day these sold for like $5 but cost $50 when you suddenly needed one, i never threw them away. Now 16 yrs later, single DIN head units are a thing of the past in my fleet and i found these cleaning the garage. Free to anyone who wants a radio for a challenge car. Located in 19539, could ship but cost probably exceeds the value by a mile.

I had that sony one in my 89 silverado back in the day. It's probably around here somewhere
Nobody should ever have to own a head unit without a volume knob.
So, umm....
Wonder what size flat rate box it would take? Id LOVE the kenwood for my neon radwood car, but budget is already ludicrously tight.

I think its going to be at least the $13 box or whatever that size costs these days. I can check in the morning.
Do any of them light up blue or green? If so I might be interested. Gotta go see what radio the Escort has in it. (Because a working radio is more important than a working transmission any day.)

I am pretty sure the Sony is green. Also Crutchfield says it's REALLY advanced and can play your homemade CD-R's!!!!!!!!!!!! I think these are all technically early-2000's units but the aesthetic is the same as the 90's.

I can stick 12v to them tonight and see.
They're too big for the small flat rate box so postage would be $15. :(
Crap. Thats more budget than I can do.
Thanks though!
