This is my $2008 GRM Challenge car and it placed 8th overall in the auto-x portion with zero testing or tuning.. My original plan was to keep it after the event, but then GRM went and surprised us with the announcement that the $2009 event is going to be back in Gainesville. That means we have to build a new car!
After purchasing the car, I discovered that the floorboards had rust, so I cut them out and patched them with galvanized steel. The yellow portions of the exterior appear to be factory paint while the lower half was painted with Rustoleum. It is as hard as nails and incredibly durable. At some point in its life, the car was in a small right front collision which appears to have been repaired well, but accounts for the misaligned headlight cover.
I have not had the car on a dyno, but the car pulls well once the boost comes on.
The title is clear and in hand. Currently the car is registered in Florida.
