The 1990 Martini Metro I bought on here from Yavuz last year is back up for sale. You may remember the cool little white Metro he was selling on here that is completly stripped,but if not here is the CL ad. The car has not run in many months,but if the wire were fixed,and the battery charged there is no doubt it would fire right up. Let me know if you are interested. It isn't ging to win any concourse competitions,but it could be made into a sweet $200X car which was what we had intended,but never got to it,and now my friend who was going to be the brains behind the operation is moving to TX,so the car has to go.

Dude... I am so tempted to buy the car back. I'll have to think about it/sleep on it. One of the reasons i got rid of it was because I didn't have a place to keep it over the winter so with the winter coming up quick I'd have to figure something out. I'll let you know though.

No chance my friend will bring it to TX. He is bring what he has left on a small trailer behind his 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata,so no room for a Metro. Yavuz I have not even changed the title yet,so you could take it back,and not have any worries about the RMV. Let me know I have your phone number still,I will call you later.Oh yeah it is on eBay as well.

Actually the logistics of getting it to Tennessee from MA are more of a problem than anything.

It was on Ebay up until about 20 minutes ago when Ebay cancelled the auction without any warning due to a non-complying VIN!!!!! I guess my friend putting 111111111 as a VIN was not acceptable after three days on the site. It was up to $600 this moring when I checked it.

I wish I had the room to store it - I'd love to buy it back even though I have no use for it. I'm surprised it still hasn't sold - I remember seeing it on ebay with a bunch of bids on it.
I can absolutely vouch for the car - I had it for a little over a year and the car never gave me any problems. I even drove it through a Massachusetts winter, but I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you're insane.
Somebody pick this car up and put it to good use, its a total riot!!
As for pictures, this is what the car looked like when I sold it... I would imagine it looks pretty much the same now since I know chris hasn't driven it.

That is exactly how it looks now,but instead it is in my back yard. I weighed it with the spare,and jack in it,and it tipped the scales at a whopping 1600lbs. The ignition switch needs some help,as a wire broke off of it,and the battery is dead,but both are easyily fixed. The ignition switch is actuated with a screwdriver(provided),and there are no keys for the car what-so-ever. This thing is totally stripped of anything that isn't "needed".

914Driver is super-serial about these offers he makes. a few years ago he dragged an empty tow dolly across ontario in a big-ass blizzard to pick up a non-running corvair station wagon in the detroit area. when offered the opportunity to crash for the night, he just jumped back behind the wheel and hammered home, across OH / PA / NY this time.
the 'vair was also $300, so maybe he's got a thing for that particular price....
