I am cleaning out my garage and I have some stuff that needs to go.
1973 Suzuki GT250 basket case. Titled frame, engine is torn apart and needs new piston, I have new pistons for it, a pair of standard size and one pair 1st oversize. Has all the parts you need plus more. $300
Ninja 250 parts. Complete engine- started taking off the head to sell but never finished it so the bolts on the cams are loosened. the clutch plates have been taken out but I still have them, never heard it run. Seat, wheels, other parts. All for $100, just take them away.
How is the GT250 cosmetically?
Well the tank has a dent and some filler in it but the inside is pretty clean. The frame is a bit dirty and has some surface rust, it will need new tires and a good cleaning. Everything is apart and in boxes.
what ninja parts do you have?
im not not local to you so im curious, otherwise i would have been at your house and taken everything in a hearbeat
I'll have to check to see what I have exactly. From memory I think I have the seat, engine, wiring harness, various electrical stuff, footpegs/shifter, I am not sure what else. I will check tomorrow and make a list.
So is the ninja motor in good shape or just good for parts? If it is broke, what's broken?
I'm near Dayton, so I could potentially come take all that stuff of your hands.
I'm not sure what kind of shape it is in. It is supposed to run according to the PO. I have not tried to start it or even turn it over. You would need to re-torque the bolts on the head and put the clutch plates back in but I cannot guarantee it to run. It has 10xxx miles on it.
