IMO, a completely rusted out TR-6 that can't possibly run and needs...everything. $1200+ is way too much, $400 is more reasonable. :)
Some cars are rare because nobody wanted them when they were new. Not sure if that applies to that Dodge or not, but I wouldn't want it.
Just before I reached driving age, I talked my father into buying a '62 Valiant 4 door (sister car to the Lancer) that someone was selling a few blocks away. It was a real hoot to drive and handled surprisingly well. Gotta admit, I know nothing about an aluminum version of the 225. Ours was definitely iron.
The only repairs I can remember having to do to it the entire time we had it (about 10 years) were a water pump, a couple of batteries, tires and the usual maintenance stuff like wiper blades, belts and bulbs. Overall, a great little car that we ended up selling to a family as a father-son project.
Whoever gets that Lancer, I hope they will go to the trouble of giving it a quality restoration.
As for the TR6, I loved mine ('74). But, I have seen one in similar condition around here for about $700 fairly recently. Oh, if only I could win the lottery.
