Kit cars aren't allowed at the Challenge.

I saw one of these up close a few weeks ago. They are even cheesier than you would imagine. They're from the era when kit cars got the reputation that they're still trying to shake off today.

Run away.

Oh, I have no interest in buying the thing; I just thought it would be cool to see it in action. I forgot about the "no kits" rule.

There were changes for 2008 that allow kit cars in a separate class.

I'd totally rock that thing around town!

I would SO rock the hell out of that! I've seen the same kit built by someone that actually cared what it looked like and it was actually pretty nice. A little elbow grease and a few detail mods, and it'd be quite fun.

And hell, build the engine a bit and they can be damn quick, too.
