I was privileged to have two of the pro drivers check out my car and get me a much better time in the autocross than I was capable of. The feedback and a little validation really felt good. Danny Shields did one run and another driver did two. I'm at a loss for his name. Are the drivers listed anywhere? They were all awesome and a great asset for the Challenge. I'd love to look them up and learn more about them.
Sounds like a great idea for a magazine article! I also wouldn't mind knowing more, I didn't catch the name of the guy who drove my car but he was awesome.

I was writing the time slips for one worker shift. I don't know which pro driver it was, but the guy did 2 or 3 runs in the turbo volvo and he was just belly laughing with joy after each run!! Seems like a fun dude!

Alan berkeleying lit it up in my benz. A box stock 1999 e55 on hoosiers beat everything but 11 other cars in the autocross and he had the biggest smile ever afterwards. (Cue the bitching about people not driving their own cars)

I totally saw a straight Scandanavian flick in that car in a couple sections. Alan is a BEAST!
