I recently bought a 95 Golf 4dr for just the front axles, non sunroof roof clip and headliner. My buddy needs the roller chassis, front subframes and the spoiler wiring. Everything else is fair game. The car runs and drives, but not for long.
Big stuff:
Motor: $200
Trans: $100
Wiring/ecu: $100
Package all for $300
Anything else that we don't need is negotiable, and will likely be VERY cheap.
Car is located in Hockessin, Del.
I'll even take offers I gotta move what I don't need and cut it up on the quick!
Motor, trans, ecu and wiring all sold. Everything else is cheap/free for this crowd.
A/C compressor pulley? (Would take the whole comp, but it's tough to ship)
Does it have a CD changer cable?
I'm trying to think what else I'd want... wouldn't have a front strut bar, would it? If you start seriously cutting the car up, I might ask you to cut out part of the drivers side shock tower for me & send my dad by to pick it up.
For my '95 Jetta (discussed on the board back in Jan. or so.)
Thanks,
Matt
I have a few compressors in the basement, I can try and get a pulley off, never tried.
I can check on the changer cable but I think they're only on later cars.
Cutting is a non issue though!

I've never tried it either -- the method is discussed on the Vortex, here:

But since I haven't tried it, no idea if that description is complete.

The wiper motor, some shock tower sheetmetal is spoken for.
Engine/trans/wiring are all out, the rest other then the roof and headliner is up for grabs before I scrap it.
