Any reason the ITBs wouldn't bolt on to a 1.8?

The bore spacing on the 1.8 is greater than the 1.6, so the ports are further apart. They won't bolt up.

They are, sort of. I've driven a few 1.8 miatas, and always enjoyed going back to my 1.6 cars... Though in the eventuality that one of my 1.6 engine die, I will probably replace it with a 1.8. The extra torque is nice.
