Yes... And for multiplying gear ratio in a greater manner.
Replaced a very loose ball joint today only to find out the drivers side needs a wheel bearing as well. Got frustrated added 10 more adhesive horsepower.
Need to cut the quarter panel stickies.
Added a bit more whorespower. Waiting for the wheel bearing to come in so I can make it rageworthy.
Then I drive it down to the scales to get the before weight.
Then start hacking!

And surprisingly cheap! I bought 10 12"x48" sheets of vinyl in the colors I wanted for $28. I have more than half left. The stripes were cut on the picnic table with an old marble backsplash and the letters on a borrowed crikut (a miserable experience based on the age of the machine and my inadequacy).
As much as I want to I cannot hate this Sh!tbarge!
Tomorrow I pick up the $100 SC300 4.27:1 differential and trade the amplifier from the GS for a ricer wing.
I will need to weld the differential, never have done this before but I think I have a good idea as to what I need to do.
I need to build a splitter at some point to go with the wang. For those that have done plywood splitters before what is the thinnest board you would use?
I officially own a $132.50 4.27:1 Lexus SC300 automatic rear differential! Diff came from a 88k mile collision car, I am going to start cleaning it up and weld it.
I also traded the Boss subwoofer amp that came with the car for a JDM!YO! carbon fauxber wing.
So much exciting

You can pickup a phantom grip or the like reasonably I believe ~200. Might be better answer but not sure how it fits the budget.
I've looked around, nobody seems to make anything for these diffs without it being a $1000 piece.
I'm okay with this diff being welded. It's not a street car, after the Challenge I don't have any real plans for it beyond making smoke.
Moar whorespower!
Need some brake cleaner to clean out the differential. SWMBO is grumpy about "unnecessary" travel.
Put the end plates on the carbon fauxber wang. Waiting for the mount hardware and the icy rain to stop.
This thing looks legit! I actually have those same wheels in 9.5 wide with 275s on my Mustang. Also bought stupid cheap on a tax refund sale.

I am pretty impressed by them. Cheap, well built, excellent finish
View from the mirror is pleasantly open.
Rattle can detailed the intake then added some whorespower.
Did some detailing on the wing mount as well but the pics were not very good.
