Pfft! I raise you LS1 RX7:

LS1 RX-7

I've ridden in this car at the autocross. It's a MONSTER!

Going to jail for 5 years. Might have some leverage on that Rx-SR. . .

15's in the 1/4 vs. low-12's in the 1/4

Not to mention the LS1 RX7 was hanging with 911's at the autocross with no problems, even with my 225Lbs of ballast in the passenger seat! :omg:

Find out what he's going to jail for. Could be a bunch of stolen car parts...

I could build another LS RX7 for the difference though, by the way I own two V8 RX7s :nice:

You could get some pretty good power out of that SR20, you should be able to make as much as an LS1 and still make the challenge.

A stock NA '87 should do 15s. The SR should put it into the 14s at the minimum. Minor upgrades should bring 13s. The leftover $ could be used to purchase another money pit.

That LS1 does look fun. If I had 10k to spare, I would consider it. (good thing I dont!)
