The PO had the head rebuilt less than 10,xxx miles ago (Yes I have paperwork to back it up) and I have put ~2500 on it. I found I Miata that I'm looking to buy ASAP

Yep thats the one John! if the car would have been a 5 speed I'd have kept it for ever!!! Unfortunately my finances were not inline for me to be able to do a 5 speed swap...
