I know, it's a stretch. Flooded, fire, any condition.
Any ideas??
Actually..........if it had been "Challenge-priced Scion xa....
An auto dismantler near me had 3, YES, THREE, xa sitting in their lot up until I left town for a few week in September. I was tempted to post something on GRM asking "what's the deal on Scions?" All three were a dark blue color, and each had a few dealer installed "custom touches", such as chrome tail light surrounds, and optional wheels. NONE, had any physical/body damage, so I'm assuming ALL had some kind of mechanical damage. Though, if it was a mechanical problem, is it really worth it to bother stripping them?

It's bad when I post something like this the day after the Challenge, isn't it?

Please good sir, can you find out more about these and report back to me ASAP. Danke
I have a whole drivetrain from a rollover Xa I purchased for a song just in case I had trouble in my Xb. Never had any trouble, sold the box, now the parts either need to sell or get made into a Locost. I took every bolt loose on the car, so I have everything that wasn't welded on.
Sadly, with air tools it only took 4 hours to remove every bolt from the car.
in college, someone had an XB in a parking lot that I would walk to class through that had the plate "ROFL BOX". if this comes to life, please do that

They could have been demos or something similar, and not been able to be titled, and Toyota said they had to be dismantled or some such.

Yesterday I went by the auto dismantler's business to see if possibly these cars had been moved to another part of the business. Strangely, I noticed for the first time since passing this place...ALL the surrounding "holding areas" were empty. There are 3 or 4 lots of different sizes that had cars and trucks in them...up until I went on vacation. Sometimes, like in the case of these xa, cars sit for what seem like months. Now, there is almost nothing in any of these lots waiting to be parted-out.
SVreX,
It's not a Scion, but, IIRC, you were going for a theme? Would this work? It just popped up.
