I'm looking for a VDO speedometer from a 914 or a 911. Mechanical or electric. It doesn't even need to work. I just need to fill the unsightly hole in my dash while I send my speedometer out for repair. All that matters is that the body is 100mm (just shy of 4").
Cheap is good.
Take a photo of yours and tap it over the hole...;)

I can loan you one out of a '90 911 but ... seriously, given your requirements, put some paper with a picture of a tach over the hole and call it a day.

Not sure. The body of the speedometer is 100mm which is just under 4 inches (3.937 to be exact).
