What are good sheet metal parts worth?

your best guidance will probably come from doing an advanced search on ebay and looking at "sold" auction results.

shipping will be expensive, so that might limit the appeal.  got a strong Jag presence in MN?

Scrap steel, minus shipping it is!

So right now I'm working with my 8 year old son on being direct. He often wants to ask me something but he knows what my answer will be so he tries to use some questionable logic to back me around into it. 

Like if he wants to play video games but has already been told he's done his time for the day, he'll start with "dad if you knew there was something I really wanted would you like to help me get it?" Or "do you know that other kids play more video games than I do?"

He's - hopefully - learning that people see through this sort of BS and that in general it is just as insulting as blankly asking a question that you know the answer to but you're hoping for a different one.

1) Check the local Jag junkyard, see if they'll give you anything for them

2) check car-part.com to see what prices are for used sheet metal, and then list them locally for less on FB, CL, and eBay

3) Post them on Jag specific forums

4) Sell them for scrap, you made your molds so you got use out of them.

So you're not wanting to maximize your recoup, you just want them gone. Tell us again why this is in the Challenge forum instead of you putting them out at the curb?

Sometimes it's hard to tell if Frenchy is 80 years old or 7.

Re-coupe  seems to be a major theme and source of discussion here whenever I check in.   The numbers discussed here seem much stronger than I would expect.   
  Like I said in my opening statement.   I want them gone but I hate to leave money on the table.
